Current Photos
February 2010
I wanted my husband to take a current picture of me so I can track my progress, so here it is (notice the slippers--it's cold in the great white North). I could go on and on about how I don't like what I see, but I'm just going to stop talking and let the picture speak for itself. This is where I am. And I am making a change. January 2010
My husband snapped these picts while I was cooking away one evening. This is me on a typical day in my house thinking I look OK (until I actually see the picts).
I was not very happy when I really saw the size of my middle in this picture. I had my baby #3 in July 2009, and I have done absolutely no work up to this point to lose the baby weight or to return to my former body (which needed some work anyway).
And the backside -- again I am shocked at how I have been living in denial. Before I saw these pictures, I thought I looked OK in these clothes. The picts don't lie.
Photos from the Past
April 2006
In this picture, I was in a great place, personally I mean. I was on a choir trip to Germany (long story how I got there), and I was determined not to derail my weight loss efforts. I walked everywhere, drank lots of water, and I didn't eat if I didn't like the food. I returned from this trip losing weight, weighing 187 pounds, my lowest weight after my second baby.
January 2003
This is a picture of me when I lost my weight after baby #1 (born in winter 2002). I remember being in a great place at this time--exercising every day and eating right. I weighed 183 lbs -- my lowest weight in the last ten years and was a few weeks pregnant with baby #2.
